UNESCO Creative Cities cooperation

1. Art Through the Lens – October 5-November 17, 2018

Artists may submit up to 20 photographic entries to this annual international juried contemporary photography exhibition presented by Yeiser Art Center. All photo-based imagery including video and moving images created through photographic processes are eligible including non-lens made images.

2.River’s Edge International Film Festival (REIFF), November 1–4, 2018

REIFF is seeking short and feature length entries in the categories of Narrative, Documentary, Animation and Experimental film. Produced by Maiden Alley Cinema, the festival seeks to promote visual literacy, creating cross-cultural awareness and highlighting filmmaking as an art form.

"I am pleased to write you to invite to apply to the 4th edition of the International Academy on UNESCO Designations and Sustainable Development, organized by Fondazione Santagata for the Economics of Culture together with UNESCO, through the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, and in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Territory Management (Università di Torino), and other institutional partners.

Academy is the UNESCO pilot training programme dedicated to the role of UNESCO sites and communities to the achievement of the 2030 SDGs, and is targeted on: World Heritage properties, Biosphere Reserves, UNESCO Creative Cities, UNESCO Global Geoparks, and elements inscribed in the UNESCO Lists and Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
